Get COVID-19 test results by text message

Fill out the BCCDC form below to receive test results by SMS (text message) directly to your cell phone.
This service is available to people who have a BC Personal Health Number (PHN) and tested for COVID-19 in the province of British Columbia.

Parents can use this service for their children who are under the age of 13 or lack the mental capacity to provide consent to this service on their own behalf. Minors who are 13 years of age or over can provide their own consent and may complete the form themselves.

What to expect.
  1. Fill out this form with your information exactly as it appears on your BC Service Card. We will use this information to verify your identity using existing electronic records systems.
  2. A verification code will be sent to your mobile device. You must enter this code into the form on the website to complete your registration. If you do not get a code, please refresh the form and try filling it out again.
  3. If your result is already available when you register, you will get a text message that your result is ready to view. Reply with SHOW to get your result.
  4. You will receive your test result as soon as it is available, day or night. By registering for this service once, you will receive your result by text anytime that you test for COVID-19 in the future. Standard message and data rates may apply
In accordance with Canadian Short Code Requirements, you can and receive more information by sending an SMS HELP or AIDE and unsubscribe at any time by sending an SMS STOP or ARRET.

NOTE: If you registered to receive a text message prior to October 15, 2020, you will need to register again to receive future COVID-19 results by text message.

By completing and submitting this webform, you declare and represent that you are the person listed below, or, if this form is submitted on behalf of a minor younger than 13 years old, that you are the parent or guardian of that minor. You also authorize us to send you test results to the mobile device listed in this form.
